Fri., Oct. 7                    Homecoming Week Kick-Off Pep Assembly                                                             8^th Hour/2:30pm

Come and join the fun in the school gym as the busy week kicks off with a spirit filled pep assembly! All 2011 GLHS fall athletes are recognized; new Student Council members are “welcomed” and the announcement of the 2011 GLHS Homecoming court.

Sat., Oct. 8                    Powderpuff Games @ the GL Football Field                                                  7:00pm

Costumes, and then of course the “big games.” What will the ladies at GLHS come up with for this year’s Powderpuff teams!??

Sun., Oct. 9                    Hall Decorating/Trinket Building                                                           3:00pm to 9:00pm

Each class has been assigned their own “holiday” for the hallways, bonfire trinket, windows and float theme!! It’s Arbor Day for the Freshmen, Labor Day for the Sophomores, Juniors get Columbus Day and the Seniors Halloween. The hallways at GLHS will never be the same!!

Wed., Oct. 12                ”Wacky Christmas Sweater Day” Time to break out those ugly Christmas sweaters!

GLHS STUCO Cookie Day Love those Lakers/Phoenix cookie day is an annual favorite!!! Help support the GLHS Student Council –cookies available during lunch and after school in the commons! ($1.50 each)

Thurs., Oct. 13               “Homecoming T-Shirt Dress Up Day”

Float Building Day Each class will work together to build their float to be ready in time for the   

parade!

Come join STUCO for our cookout at lunch

$2 a ticket gets you a hot dog or hamburger, chips, drink, and dessert. Please purchase your ticket in the office by Friday, October 7^th.
