The Library Media Center has many valuable websites that are available to parents and students through the Library Media Website. The resources are listed to the right of this page and include links to encyclopedias, student research centers, books and much more. Stop through the Library Media Center to find out more and pick up the needed usernames and passwords!!!

We are having a great 2012-13 school year in the Library Media Center! Elementary students have been checking out books, taking Reading Counts quizzes, teaming up to compete in the state-wide Battle of the Books, learning about different authors, and talking about what an Inquirer is, among many other things. We have also been pleased to note that middle and high school students are increasingly coming in to check out books. Students that come in during their study hall also have a nice selection of magazines to read.

Banned Books Week: Celebrating the 30th Anniversary of the Freedom to Read

September 30−October 6, 2012

We have been having great discussions with students in 4th grade and up about the Freedom of Speech. Students have had great questions about why certain books have been challenged and/or banned. Please stop by the Library Media Center to see the display of Banned Books through October 11.
