We have a new friendly class pet, King the Grub! King was named due to his large size. In fact, he is the biggest grub we have ever seen! Fred's dad found him, and Fred brought him in to show his friends. The students welcomed him as our new class pet, and Etta created a beautiful habitat for him. The students researched all about grubs to learn more about what he likes to eat, the environment he lives in, and the impact that grubs have on the environment. The students take good care of King and always bring him outside to enjoy recess.
